FAQ's

Frequenlty Asked Question

How do I track my investments from overseas?

KSquare’s online dashboard lets NRIs monitor and manage portfolios 24/7, no matter where they are in the world.

What are Tier I and Tier II NPS accounts?

Tier I is the mandatory retirement account with tax benefits, while Tier II is voluntary with flexible withdrawals but no tax deductions.

What is the difference between SIP and lump sum in mutual funds?

SIP involves regular, small investments over time, while lump sum is a one-time larger investment. SIP is better for market averaging.

What is a New Fund Offering (NFO) in mutual funds?

A New Fund Offering is the first-time subscription launch of a new mutual fund scheme by an asset management company.

Can I cancel or modify my NFO investment once submitted?

Yes, you can cancel or modify your NFO investment only before the allotment is processed and while the NFO is still open. Once the NFO closes and units are allotted, the investment cannot be changed or cancelled. After allotment, you may exit only through redemption, as per applicable terms and conditions.

How does KSquare help with mutual fund selection?

KSquare uses algorithms, market insights, and advisor expertise to recommend funds suited to your goals and risk level.

Is NPS a market-linked investment?

Yes, NPS invests in equity and debt instruments, so returns vary with market performance over time.

Do NFOs offer better returns than existing funds?

Not always. While some NFOs may perform well, they lack historical data. KSquare helps evaluate the potential.
