At Unisem Agritech, the development, processing, and sale of seeds for vegetables, flowers, and field crops are carried out. Conventional breeding methods are employed to create hybrid seeds that give higher yields, better quality, and increased resistance to pests and diseases than those from natural varieties. The company focuses on the development of hybrid seeds, selecting the best traits for the production of foundation seeds to be further multiplied into commercial seeds for farming. These seeds are designed according to various agro-climatic conditions like water availability, soil type, and duration of crop. For large-scale production, the firm enters into agreements with seed growers and monitors their fields to ensure proper practices. Seeds are first harvested and then go through strict quality checks before processing at our facility in Ranebennur, Karnataka. The seeds are then packed after being processed, followed by supply to the dealer network spanning several states. Operating for more than 8 years with a combined promoter experience of over 20 years, it is committed to offering the best hybrid seeds to farmers. The R&D team, comprising breeders and staff, continuously works in innovation to meet the increasing needs of agriculture.
